It’s a dreary, gloomy Sunday morning. The sky must be crying because my dad’s out of town.

I was examining Ezekiel 33 and it struck me that while we can make many wrong turns, there is always the option of taking the U-turn. Also – no one can be saved by his or her own righteousness, no one is too evil to be saved.

Yesterday’s sermon was a solemn reminder to believe in people. I have to admit that many a time, I don’t see the person, I see Problem. That really sucks especially when everyone else in that person’s life also sees Problem.

I’m thankful that when God looks at me, He doesn’t see Problem. He sees Possibility, Potential and Promise. (:

So now, how do I put on these lenses of faith to see what God sees?

On a sidenote, I had another of those rejuvenating Saturdays. Highlights: NYC CLM in the morning was a breath of fresh air. Nice late night chitchat with Si Hui on a bench outside Orchard Central.

Okay, I’m going out for breakfast with my mum now!

P/S: If you’re wondering about the title of this post, it’s the name of the scrapbook paper that I used to re-wrap my bible with.

Don’t be reckless with other people’s hearts,
Don’t put up with those who are reckless with yours.

I loved the speech that was screened during AB214. And this line has been stuck in my head ever since!

TODAY, I MET UP WITH LEE SUET YI WHO RETURNED FROM THE STATES! (: My afternoon with her has gotta be the best time of my week so far.

And had dinner at Vivocity Marche with my mum. Dad’s out of town and my brother’s at camp… So it’s just 2 of us for the weekend.

I know I sound rather incoherent. It must be the lack of sleep.

Good night!

I thought that one of the books by C.S Lewis would be an apt title for the post today.

COUNTING MY BLESSINGS!
#1 Being able to survive an excruciating walk from South Spine to North Spine on 3-inch heels (I will never do this again.)
#2 Lunchtime. My hunch wasn’t wrong.
#3 Receiving liang teh!
#4 Talking rubbish (some of it) with Guanrui, Yanyu and Cassie.
#5 Cheery sms from Stella. (: (:
#6 Finding a lovable side to someone whose name has a S in it.
#7 BL246 being more bearable because Charmaine was there with me for the 4hours!

I finally chose my topic for my BL246 research paper. (: It is something that interests me, thank God. It’s not exactly easy to find something creative within the scope of Management of Intellectual Property Rights and Innovation, you know.

Cleared half of my to-do list for today! The remaining ones on the list are, unfortunately, somewhat daunting.

I hate it that I worry so much.

Dear Sheep,

eunice
We are going to have our last ‘official’ meet up tomorrow. Looking back how far we have journeyed together, I can’t help but be filled with nostalgia.

I am honoured to have had this opportunity to deepen what would be an otherwise surface friendship. I don’t think we would have shared so much of our lives to each other if we were not shepherd/sheep?

Thank you for being vulnerable to me. I know that it is not easy for you to trust. But you did trust me. (: Thank you for allowing me to speak into your life, to nudge you out of self-pity. God must have spoken what I didn’t dare to say. Thank you for the friendship – The times we shared viewpoints over Mos fries, the phonecalls, the trips to various parts of Singapore because we didn’t have the convenience of meeting on the same campus, the rambling about Business as a degree…

As much as I feel a tinge of sadness about this, I know that you are in good hands! (: I look forward to seeing how God will build upon what you have experienced and learnt.

Let’s keep this long-distance relationship going, ya?
