today = fun
Today must have been one of the best Sundays I’ve ever had with my parents. It helped that all of us got sufficient rest the night before and we were in a cheery mood. (:
Driving in Orchard Road was madness, all thanks to the hype over Orchard Ion. We actually joined the pandemonium after 45mins of searching for a parking space at Wheelock / Shaw House. (I think Shaw’s carpark is so narrow and dark that it resembles an amusement park ride.)
When we finally entered the mammoth of the shopping centre, it felt as though the entire Singapore was there checking the place out. Still, it was insane fun! For once, you can enter the likes of Burberry and grope branded merchandise without getting steely stares from the retail assistants. Hohoho.

Above comment was made by my dad. I actually saw maids koping roses from the standing flower bouquets that lined the shop entrances!
Oh, we didn’t buy anything except for 2 canned drinks. I suspect many at Ion were like us – walking around, touching everything but not spending a cent.
Blessing of the day: I got my red Converse sneakers at 20% off thanks to the sale at OG.
