My title reminds me of one of those comments Auggie would occasionally write on the margins of our lit essays. I recall how my heart would leap a little during those rare moments that I received such a gem.

Okay, I digress.

I received two teachings today; one about David’s Mighty Men and the other detailed God’s forgiveness. Honestly, I didn’t expect them to be WOW teachings because I’ve actually been taught lessons/sermons on those exact two passages.

God, like always, proved me wrong. I was not only refreshed, reminded and renewed; I was astounded. He revealed to me the meaning of going the extra mile (quite literally) for my leaders. He reconstructed my concept of grace.

I learnt so much today. Most importantly, to never allow the past to restrict how much I can receive in the present.

I’m awaiting the month of Dec with eager anticipation. Tons of meetups, one family trip to Perth, driving lessons and reading. (I’ve devoured two books so far.)
