fuelled by encouragement
I was inspired by Siyun’s blog post, so here’s a look at how my noticeboard in hall looks like!
Sengkim once commented that it looks more like an encouragement board. I can’t help but agree, really. What people say in the cards / post-its that they took time to write (trust me, it takes effort) serve as important reminders to chase after God and to keep me going.
A little bit can go a long, long way.
You wrote me a card/note. You called. You bought me a little gift. You sent me a sms before my quiz. You prayed. You people know who you are. And I want to say THANK YOU.
More importantly – Love that’s received is meant to be passed on.
P/S: There are a lot more cards I’ve received which are not on my Hall of Fame (get the pun?) but it doesn’t mean I don’t treasure your love. (: I just so happen to pin up those which people give to me on campus.
