I got to wake up after 730am today, for once. It sure feels good to get at least 8 precious hours of sleep.

Sexy Rabbit and I studied from 12pm to 9pm on Thursday. Just kidding, there were plenty of breaks in between.

We skyped with Shoobee, Yongsheng and Ah Foo yesterday night! WOOTS. And Qinny was going nuts in her excitement. I believe this is going to be a regular thing.

Learning points from this week:
- Be an encourager! (Must open one’s eyes to look out for those who need it.)
- Don’t allow yourself to lag behind your study plan!
- Add value to conversations.

I can safely say that God was with me. (: Through the frenzy of my marketing project presentation, through those nights that I pushed myself to read yet another chapter of my textbook…

You are good and nothing will ever change that.

the impromptu date

A13 gathering was cancelled. But it’s okay, I had a great time with Fung all the same.

Lunch was at Breko@Holland V.

(Don’t ask me why my eyes are so small. I think I was tired. You can’t even see Fung’s eyes anyway.) And yes, I know that we are very uncreative in posing for photos. Somehow, we can’t seem to go beyond victory signs.

You know, there are certain people that you can tell everything to? There’s no need for censorship whatsoever. To me, she’s one of them. (:

I hope we don’t ever get bored of each other. Because we’ll be seeing other for a long, long time. Eternity leh. Hohoho.

Somehow his wistful comment triggered numerous thoughts in me. How timely, too, that I’ll be accompanying Qinpei for membership class tomorrow.

I pray that I will never take my church for granted. Perhaps you might say that I’m biased, that I never visited enough churches to say this but I’ll declare it anyway: I believe that Hope is where I want to stay, always.

What makes me so proud of my church? And what sets us apart? We’re serious about the Great Commission. We’re not clique-ish. We want to follow Jesus and love Him with our lives.

Sure, we get naggy leaders and we are often busy with cg, svc, mtings, wfl, leap, shpding. Because of this, people say that being in Hope requires Commitment.

And to these people, I would say – It’s about what you value. Think about it.

At the end of the day, what I receive is far greater than the time I think I’ve sacrificed. Sacrifice? A more appropriate term would be - Investment. What a tiny price to pay for spiritual growth!

I value my relationship with God. And this is why I’ve stayed in Hope and will continue to do so.

i’m grateful.

I am referring to the people that He has placed in my life. Because you’re with me, I can keep going and even go a little further.

Thank you for the video! I really appreciate the time and effort u all put in even though u all have tests n quizzes n exams coming up soon… I feel so blessed and loved! And to those ppl who were spying on me as I watched the video.. sorry to disappoint u if I didn’t look touched or whatever.. i think my face doesn’t know how to give the “touched” expression… thanks also for praying for me! I truly thank God for blessing me with such a loving cg. You are the BEST cg in the world! And those who haven’t skyped with yongsheng and me, DO IT! It’s the next cool thing to do in ntu.

Personally, I felt that I didn’t deserve those words that your mum said to me! In case you didn’t know, you are a very, very strong girl. And you can only get stronger. (:

The full magnitude of this verse hit me today.

“Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no advantage to you.”

They wouldn’t bother if they didn’t care. And sometimes we forget that they have no obligation to nag at / lead / correct / love us in the first place.
